Krokom
Krokom is a place ( Tätort ) in the Swedish province of Jämtland County or in the historical county of Jämtland. Krokom is the capital of the municipality of the same name.
Krokom is located about 20 kilometers north of Östersund on the European road 14 and on the Mittbanan. In 2010 the town had 2277 inhabitants in an area of 263 hectares. The largest employer is the public sector.
