Kronsmoor

Kronsmoor is a municipality in the district of Steinburg, in Schleswig- Holstein ( Germany ).

Geography and transport

Kronsmoor is about five kilometers east of Itzehoe on the sturgeon. Southwest of Kronsmoor runs the Federal Highway 23 from Hamburg to Itzehoe.

Policy

Of the nine seats in the municipal council has the voter community KWV since the local elections 2008 eight seats, one seat is held by a single applicant.

Economy

Besides some crafts and a chalk pit the municipal area is characterized predominantly by agricultural enterprises.

The chalk pit Saturn in which is no longer mined, but which is for the construction of a pumped storage power plant in conversation, lies partly in the municipal area.
