Kropp

Kropp (Danish: Krop ) is a municipality on the Ancient Road in the district Schleswig-Flensburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. The place is a sub- center since 1986 and was honored in 2002 as a child, youth and family-friendly community.

Kropp is located about 12 km south of Schleswig on the main road 77 Further east runs the Federal Highway 7

History

The town was first mentioned in 1285 as Croop ( goiter ). The name refers to the flat curvature of the Sanders, where the spot is.

Kropp has a full-time administration, which performs the administrative affairs for the Office Kropp - Stapelholm.

Municipal council

Of the 19 seats in the municipal council, the CDU had since the local elections 2008 nine seats, the Social Democrats and six voters Community AWK four.
