Kroppedal

The Kroppedal Museum is a national museum of Danish astronomy.

The museum was founded in 2003 twenty kilometers south-west of Copenhagen in the village Vridsløsemagle. Kroppedal operates an extensive archaeological activity and is also engaged in ethnological problems of the present. The museum has a permanent exhibition on the history of astronomy, the Astrom and engineer Ole Rømer (1644-1710) in particular, and the collections contain only one of its pendulum clocks that has the Fire in Copenhagen survived 1728.
