Kruckow

Kruckow is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald. The community is located east of the town of Demmin. Until 1 January 2004, the municipality was part of the Office Tutow and has since become part of the Office Jarman - Tutow.

Geography and transport

Kruckow is located about 14 km east of Demmin and about eleven kilometers west of Jarman. The B 110 performs the community. The place can be reached via the connection Jarman the A20.

The communities Kruckow and Kartlow joined on 31 May 1999 together for community Kruckow. On 13 June 2004 Schmarsow was incorporated.

History

Kruckow was first mentioned in 1249 when the Bishop Wilhelm von Pommern the place einpfarrte addition to other villages to Kart Lower Church.

1498 enfeoffed Bogislaw X. Peter Podewils with Kruckow and Tentzerow.

After Kahldenschen Hufenmatrikel 1631 Jürgen and Adam had to Kruckow Kruckow four country hooves.

1712 sold Joachim Friedrich von Podewils Kruckow addition to other villages to the commissary Franz von Glasenapp. In the division of an estate in 1738, his son Carl Friedrich von Glasenapp received the goods. Along with his five brothers he acquired the land four hooves of Malt tooth 's ownership in Kruckow by Hans Bernd von Malt tooth. He died without heirs and his brothers Peter and Felix von Glasenapp left the goods Bentzin, Barkow and Kruckow Major General Karl Franz of Sobeck († 1779). This had married the only daughter of Felix von Glasenapp. Kruckow and Barkow went after comparing 1796 to her son, the Lord Chamberlain Peter Franz Hans Ernst Freiherr von Sobeck.

After a 1840 started by Peter Joseph Lenne plan was Karl Freiherr von Sobeck create a landscape park. 1884 a mansion was built.

Last owner of the goods Kruckow 1945 was Alexander Freiherr von Sobeck. The mansion burned in the postwar period 1948 and was destroyed for building materials, remains are still visible.

1750 Vorwerk Borgwallsee was created. It was pertinence to Good Schmarsow, but then became an independent commodity. It belonged until 1855 to the family of Malt tooth that belonged to the estate Schmarsow since the 14th century. In 1855 the estate was to the family of Heyden. 1862 had Borgwallsee only 4 houses but 91 inhabitants. After the Prussian Urmeßtischblatt of 1835 was originally the settlement Borgwallsee 700 m to the southeast. It is assumed that after the takeover by the Heyden the manor including day laborers cottages has been newly created closer to Schmarsow occupying the ordnance map of 1880. Good and place existed at the time of the manor, 4 outbuildings and 5 farm workers cottages.
