Krummendeich

Krummendeich ( Low German Krummendiek ) is a municipality in the district of Stade in Lower Saxony.

The community belongs to the Samtgemeinde Nordkehdingen, which has its headquarters in the town of Freiburg / Elbe. The village lies on the German Fährstraße.

Krummendeich can still recognize the settlement form of a series of village. House to house stands on the dike defense of the old Elbe dike. The place has an agricultural structure. Krummendeich is known by the natural swimming pool that has a water surface, which was at a levee breach in 1825, used.
