Krys Barch

Krystofer " Krys " Barch ( born March 26, 1980 in Guelph, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is active for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League since September 2013.

Career

Barch was drafted already in the NHL Entry Draft in 1998 at 106th of the Washington Capitals, but he finished his NHL debut until January 15, 2007 for the Dallas Stars against the Los Angeles Kings. After Texas, he came as a free agent before the season 2006/07. Previously, he spent his entire career in North American minor leagues, mainly the American Hockey League. Known as a tough player, he brought it to the NHL debut season in only 57 games in the AHL and the NHL to 217 penalty minutes. During his time at the London Junior Knights Barch was still known as a scorer and less than Enforcer and brought it to 123 points in 187 games.

In December 2011, the Dallas Stars him transferred together with a sixth- round vote in the NHL Entry Draft in 2012 in exchange for Jake Hauswirth and a fifth- round vote in the NHL Entry Draft in 2012 to the Florida Panthers. In July 2012, he signed as a free agent a two year contract with the New Jersey Devils, the charges again him after one season in September 2013 to the Florida Panthers.
