Krystian Legierski

Krystian Legierski ( born April 22, 1978 in Koniaków ) is a Polish LGBT activist, politician and businessman, co-owner of Warsaw clubs Le Madame, Tomba Tomba - and M25.

Legierski has completed his studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Warsaw University. From October 2006 to November 2010 he has mitgeleitet the shipment Better late than never on the radio TOK FM.

2003 he has been in the Warsaw's Old Town the club Le Madame founded together with Ela Solanowska, the ( until its closure in March 2006) for three years, an alternative cultural center. It is co-author of the open letter to the President of the Lawyers Warsaw concerning the ban on the Equality Parade in 2005. Since 2009 Legierski member of the informal initiative group for same-sex partnership ( Grupa Inicjatywna ds. Związków Partnerskich ).

Legierski is a member of the Polish countryside Zieloni 2004. During the years 2004-2006 he was a member of the party council of the party. He stood as a candidate in elections to the European Parliament in 2004 in Warsaw. In the Sejm elections in 2005 he was a candidate on the list of SDPL in Warsaw. In the elections for the European Parliament in 2009, he ran in Warsaw on the list agreement for the future. In the local elections on 21 November 2010 he was elected to the Warsaw City Council.
