Krzanowice, Opole Voivodeship

Krzanowitz, Polish Krzanowice, is a town in Upper Silesia. Krzanowitz located in the municipality in the United Döbern powiat Opolski in Polish Opole Voivodeship.

Krzanowitz located eight kilometers southeast of the municipal center Great Döbern and six kilometers north of the county town of Opole and voivodship.

Neighboring towns of Krzanowitz are in the west of the Opole district Wroblin (woman village), in the northwest Czarnowąsy ( Czarnowąsy ), to the east Kępa ( Kempa ) and in the south of Opole.

History

Krzanowitz was first documented in 1450.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 voted 61 voters to remain in Germany and 74 for Poland. Krzanowitz remained with the German Reich. 1925 lived 212 inhabitants in the village. On 19 February 1934, the town was renamed in Erlen reason. On April 1, 1937 Krzanowitz was incorporated for female village. By 1945, the place was in the district of Opole.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Krzanowice and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to re-founded powiat Opolski. On 22 April 2009 the Krzanowitz was in the village of Great Döbern, belongs, introduced German as a second official language on 1 December 2009 was the place in addition to the official German names Krzanowitz.
