Krzysztof Kolberger

Krzysztof Marek Kolberger ( born August 13, 1950 in Gdansk, † January 7, 2011 in Warsaw) was a Polish actor and theater director.

Life

Kolberger received his acting training at the State Higher School of Theatre ( PWST ), which he completed in 1972. He had in 1972 in Katowice his first engagement. Adam Hanuszkiewicz took him a year later to the Teatr Narodowy in Warsaw, where he was part of the ensemble to the deposition of Hanuszkiewicz 1982. Then he played and staged at different stages Warsaw in 1999 and returned back to the rebuilt after a fire in the 1980s Teatr Narodowy and belonged until 2004 to the ensemble. After two television work Kolberger In 1976, under the direction of Gustav Holoubek his feature film debut. Krzysztof Kolberger was one of the most respected theater actors and reciters of Poland. His ability as a reciter he owed that Andrzej Wajda cast him in his 1999 classic film version of Pan Tadeusz Adam Mickiewicz. Krzysztof Kolberger died on 7 January 2011 after many years of cancer.
