Krzysztof Ptak
Krzysztof Ptak ( born April 3, 1954 in Sulejow ) is a Polish cinematographer.
Ptak ended 1980, a study cinematography at the Film School in Łódź. He also studied history and philosophy at the University of Łódź. Since 1984 he teaches at the Film School in Copenhagen in Denmark. He also led the study program director at the Film and Television School in Britain. As a cameraman initially worked with documentary films and turned commercials as well as video clips. For his work as a cinematographer for feature films, he was six-time winner with the Polish Film Award. It is thus record holder with the most awards at the Polish Film Award. Ptak worked with directors such as Andrzej Wajda Jan Jakub Kolski, Krzysztof Krauze and Piotr Trzaskalski.
He is married to Malgorzata Ptak and father of three children: Witold, Aneta, Michał.
