KS Cracovia is a Polish ice hockey team from Krakow, which was founded in 1906. The sports club of the same name belonging Hockey department plays in the 2012/13 season in the Playoff Final.

History

The Hockey Division of KS Cracovia was founded in 1906. The first major success for Cracovia was winning the Polish championship title in the 1936 season / 37. In the years after the Second World War Cracovia dominated the National Hockey and won four more championships. However, the title win in the 1947/48 season is considered controversial because it was awarded by the Polish Ice Hockey Federation PZHL on green table. At this time the team was able to build successful only after the turn of the millennium, when she became one of the best teams in the Playoff Final. From 2006 to 2013, the team within eight years, five more league titles won.

At European level, KS Cracovia took as a Polish representative at the IIHF Continental Cup several times in part, was able to achieve so far, however, no major successes.
