KS Dinamo Tirana

Klubi Sportiv Dinamo Tirana is an Albanian football club from the capital Tirana. He is currently playing in the second Albanian League, the Kategoria e Pare.

Dinamo Tirana is one of the best teams in the country. Previously, the club was able to win the league title 16 times. In addition, the Albanian Cup was won in 18 finals 13 times.

History

The club was founded on 19 July 1949 under the present name. In the very first year of existence Dinamo Tirana was the first time national champion and won the Cup. In the 1971/72 season the club took part for the first time at the European Cup. 1995 passed the club itself to rename in KS Olimpik Tirana, but this was made ​​two years later undone.

After the 2011/12 season the club was relegated successful in the second division.
