KS Egnatia

KS Egnatia Rrogozhina is an Albanian football club based in the district Rrogozhina Kavaja. Currently the club plays in the third-class Kategoria e Dyte.

History

The club was founded in 1964 as Vullneti Rrogozhina. In 1991 it was renamed KS Rrogozhina and since 1998 the club reflects the new name.

After the club played a long time in the second Albanian League, one was involved in the 2000 /01 season in a scandal. The players of the ascension playing in the first division clubs went with the score at 0-1 going to the players of the opposing KS Elbasani, so the game in the 44th minute had to be canceled. Initially the club was doomed to relegation, but the judgment later reversed. In the following season they were in sixth, a year later we qualified for the reformed second division. 2003/ 04 second division succeeded as master of promotion to the first division, from which one had to descend as Penultimate but right back. By 2007 /08, the club played in the second, before one 2008/ 09 Albanian descent into the third division.
