Ksani

The Ksani (Georgian ქსანი, Ossetian Чысандон, Čysandon ) is a river in central Georgia and the South Ossetia region. It rises on the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus in the lake Kelistba, flows south and empties into the Kura.

Riverside are located next to the city Akhalgori, capital of Rajons the same name, near the mouth of the remains of the fortress of Ksani. The historic Georgian province that extended over the valley of the Ksani and the neighboring valleys, bore the name of the river.
