Ksenija Balta

Ksenija Balta ( born November 1, 1986 in Minsk) is an Estonian athlete.

Sporting career

Balta began her athletic career as a heptathlete. At the Junior European Championships in 2005 in Kaunas, she won the bronze medal with 5745 points. During her first major international event in the seniors, the European Indoor Championships in Madrid in 2005 she was awarded 3711 points 14th in the pentathlon. On 1 June 2006, it achieved within the framework of the Seven struggle in Arles with a time of 23.05 s on the 200 meters Estonian record. The competition, she finished with a personal best of 6180 points. This year for the first time won the Estonian Championship titles in the heptathlon. At the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2006 she went over the 100 meters and long jump at the start.
