Kuchinarai District

Amphoe Kuchinarai ( Thai: อำเภอ กุ ฉิ นารายณ์ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of the province of Kalasin. The Kalasin Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the Isaan.

Geography

The neighboring districts are clockwise from the west starting: the Amphoe Don Chan, Na Mon, Huai Phung, Na Khu and Khao Wong in the province of Kalasin, the Amphoe Khamcha -i and Nong Sung Province Mukdahan, and Amphoe moei Wadi, Phon Thong and Pho Chai Roi Et Province

Management

Amphoe Somdet is divided into twelve communities ( tambon), which in turn consist of 142 villages ( Muban ).

There are nine small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

• Bua Khao ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บัวขาว ) consists of parts of the tambon Khao Bua,
• Kut Wa ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล กุด หว้า ) consists of parts of the tambon Kut Wa
• Chum Chang ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล จุ ม จัง ) consists of the whole tambon Chum Chang,
• Lao Ngam Hai ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เหล่า ไฮ งาม ) consists of the whole Tambon Hai Lao Ngam,
• Sam Kha ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล สามขา ) consists of the whole tambon Sam Kha
• Na Kham ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นา ขาม ) consists of the whole tambon Na Kham,
• Nong Hang ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนอง ห้าง ) consists of the whole tambon Nong Hang,
• Na Ko ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นา โก ) consists of the whole tambon Na Ko,
• Som Sa -at ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล สม สะอาด ) consists of the whole tambon Som Sa -at.

There are also five " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations).
