Kucze, EÅ‚k County

Kucze ( German: Kutzen ) is a scoring for community Kalinowo village in the northeastern Mazury in Polish Warmia - Masuria, Elk County.

Geography

The village is located 13 kilometers in a straight line southwest of the town Kalinowo ( German calligrapher Owen ) at a leading of Sypitki after Stacze highway. It lies at the confluence of the Lega.

History

The village was established in the 15th century in the context of internal migration by settlers from the area Lyck. 1502 was listed as the Commendatore to the Rhine, Rudolf von Diepoltskirchen a (further ) hooves to the brothers Jan and Simon of Czirpint ( Kutzen ) sold.

On May 27, 1874 came in the wake of a Prussian government reform a new office district Sawadden, which included the rural communities Brodowen, Buczylowen, Cziessen, Czyntschen, Jebramken, Small Lasken, Krzywen, Kutzen, Ossarken, Sypittken and Statzen and Gutsbezirk Sawadden.

On December 1, 1910 posted Kutzen 205 inhabitants.

1939 Kutzen only 186 inhabitants.

After the Second World War in 1945 that fell to the German Empire ( East Prussia ), Elk County, belonging Kutzen to Poland. The resident population was German, if they had not fled, largely expelled after 1945 or expelled and replaced in addition to the traditional Polish- Masurian minority by new residents from other parts of Poland. The place Kutzen was renamed the Polish phonetic transcription of the historic city name in Kucze.
