Kuemmerling

Kuemmerling is the brand name for a herb from the group of semi-sweet.

The bitters with 35 % vol. Alcohol has been produced since 1963 in the ground near Mainz after a recipe from 1938. There about a million of the typical 0.02 -liter bottles are filled daily.

History

In 1921, Hugo Kuemmerling began in Deesbach ( Thuringia) with the development of a herbal liqueur. The secret recipe of the drink was invented in 1938. The company was founded in 1945 in the present flood plain of Leibis - light, a memorial stone today it. The relocation to Coburg in Bavaria occurred in 1949. There are currently employs 55 people. Besides Kuemmerling the tradition of brandy brands Jacobi '1880 'and the Korn Bismarck still be filled in ground home. The Bundeskartellamt has the acquisition of brands Kuemmerling herbal liqueur, Prince Bismarck double Grain and Jacobi agreed in 1880 aged brandy from the Henkell & Co. KG sparkling wine on September 1, 2010.
