Kuhbett

The Kuhbett is a survey in the Taunus low mountain range and has a height of 526 m above sea level. NN.

Location

The forested mountain is located in the Taunus Nature Park in the district of Bad Camberger urban forest in Limburg- Weilburg. Less than 2 kilometers north-east of the summit is Hasselbach and in just such a distance to the southeast of the glans Hof. The Kuhbett is part of the Feldberg- long-necked horse head plaice in the eastern Hintertaunus that separates the Emsbachtal from Weiltal. He is in the northwest of the highest mountain in the main high plaice.

Below the top of the hill the winding country road L3030 runs from Schwickershausen by Rod at Weil, at which the car park is Kuhbett. From there, many sporting activities, including on the trail of the race street, in the wooded area are possible.

Naming

The name of the mountain " Kuhbett " goes on a shady valley back in the Hasselbacher district on the east side of the survey. There probably the cows were grazing in the shadow of the mountain ridge in the naming.

Eichelsbacher yard

A few kilometers away from the parking lot Kuhbett, on the way towards Riedelbach, located slightly off the racing line of the glans Hof, a still well-preserved mansion from 1568. The Acorn Hof attracts today as a traveling guest house in an idyllic location, take a breather. This - formerly fortified farm of the Lords of Reinberg - is actually a castle. The mansion was once preserved the east wing of a four-towered Renaissance castle.
