KujÅ Michiie
Michiie Kujo (Japanese九 条 道家; * 1193, † 1252) was Kampaku and the father of the Shogun Kujo Yoritsune.
He was a grandson of Kujo Kanezane (also known as Fujiwara no Kanezane ).
The Kujo support the Kitano Shrine. In 1219, Kujo Michiie donated to the shrine the scroll " Kitano Tenjin Engi Emaki " ( an illustrated scroll of the story of the Kitano Shrine ), an enlarged version was handed over to the shrine in 1223.
1226 reached Michiie to let use his son as a fourth shogun of the Kamakura Yoritsune shogunate, although the real power remained at the Hōjō regent.
