Kuki-Chin languages
The Mizo - Kuki - Chin- Kuki -Chin languages or languages form a sub- unit of the Kuki - Chin- Naga languages belonging to the Tibeto-Burman languages , a primary branch of the Sino Tibetan. The Kuki -Chin about 40 languages - many have only a few thousand speakers - are spoken by 2.3 million people in North-East India, Bangladesh, and Burma. The largest individual languages are the Mizo or Lushai with 550 thousand, the Hakha Lai with 400 thousand and 350 thousand Tiddim with speakers.
