Kulm am Zirbitz is a municipality with 321 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the judicial district or district Murau in Styria.

Geography

Kulm am Zirbitz located in the district Murau in the Austrian province of Styria.

There are no other cadastral except Kulm am Zirbitz.

History

The abolition of the manorial system was carried out in 1848., The local church as an autonomous body was established in 1850. After the annexation of Austria in 1938 the congregation to Reichsgau Styria came from 1945 to 1955 it was part of the British zone of occupation in Austria.

Coat of arms

The award of the municipality coat of arms was made with effect from 1 August 1959. Coat Description: In the green shield with a silver shield head, which is covered with a black eagle with outspread oberhalben flight, two silver towers next to each other, hovering over a silver Three mountain. Each of the towers dreizinnigen shows two black windows and a perforated gate.
