The Kulusuk Airport ( Kalaallisut Mittarfik Kulusuk, Kulusuk Lufthavn Danish, IATA code: KUS, ICAO code: BGKK ) is the international airport of Greenland Kulusuk city. It is located three kilometers north-east of it, and counted 2008, around 14 103 passengers and 1,691 aircraft movements. Holdings is the airport from the Greenland Airport Authority ( Kalaallisut Mittarfeqarfiit, Danish Grønlands Lufthavnsvæsen ) and monitored by the Civil Aviation Administration.

Equipment

The airport has a 1,199 meter long and 30 meter wide gravel or gravel airstrip. It has no de-icing systems, which often represents a very big problem in the winter, as the temperatures are often in this time of year in the minus range. In summer the airport, however, can not cope with the number of passengers often. The terminal also has a small coffee shop and a duty-free status in the countries of departure and at the arrival hall.
