Kumandins

The Kumandiner are an indigenous people in Siberia, which has a little over 3000 members, mainly living in the Republic of Altai.

The Kumandiner speak a Turkic language, which is related to the Uighur. Their language is in danger of extinction, it is used only 33% of them as their language.
