Kumar Sanu

Kumar Sanu (actually Kedarnath Bhattacharya; born September 23, 1957 in Calcutta) is an Indian playback singer of Hindi film.

Life

Kumar Sanus father Pashupati Bhattacharya was a renowned singer and composer who recognized the talent of his son at an early stage and promoted. Kumar Sanu began his musical career in 1984. His breakthrough came then six years later when he made the song for the film Aashiqui. He stands in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most recorded songs in one day; there were 28 items.
