Kunal Kohli is an Indian Bollywood director.

Biography

Kunal Kohli studied at the Cathedral and John Connon School in Bombay. He was a film critic before he made ​​films themselves. Some years, he hosted the show Chalo Cinema on Zee TV. With Tirkon, a television series that debuted the director.

He is a partner of the production company Yash Raj Films, which belongs to the producer and director Yash Chopra. Under this production company Kohli published Mujhse Dosti Karoge his first film! (2002), however, who flopped at the box office.

Two years later his second film Hum Tum came (2004) in theaters and became one of the biggest hits of the year. The film won him the coveted Filmfare Award for Best Director.

His third film, Fanaa (2006 ), was also a box office hit and was also a super hit overseas. Fanaa aroused huge expectations because Kajol after five years of maternity leave again for the first time played a major role.
