Province

Kunduz (also: Kunduz, Qhunduz; Pashto / Dari: کندز ) is the capital of the province of Kunduz. It is located in the northeast of Afghanistan in the so-called Kunduztal near the Tajik border, approximately 250 km north of Kabul. In the city live according to the latest calculations in 2012 almost 125,000 inhabitants. Kunduz is located at an altitude of 397 m.

History

Climate
