Kunstforum Baden-Badener Versicherung

The Baden-Baden Art Forum in Saarland Sankt Ingbert is a gallery for contemporary art in private. During business hours, the exhibits can be viewed at the offices of the local representative of the Baden -Baden Versicherung AG.

The Baden-Baden Forum Art offers artists from the Greater Region Saar -Lor -Lux the opportunity to present their work at exhibitions. The selection of artists takes place under the premise exhibit both well-known and less established artists as well as young talent in exchange. You can present their work to an interested audience in the vast corridors of the building. The exhibition concept of the Art Forum is applied such that ambitious artists are offered the opportunity to be able to display their art and sell without having to bear the financial burden on the organizational side. From the sale proceeds will be donated to 10%, which was founded in 2009, Baden -Baden Children and Youth Foundation.

History

The Art Forum was established in 1992 under the name of Art Forum Leismann. In the design of the then new administration building of Leismann Group (insurance, etc.) was involved from the beginning to the integration of a professionally equipped art gallery. The corridors are created oversized wide, coordinated with the building hangers and an elaborate lighting fixtures create in conjunction with Japanese garden cultures in galleries rarely encountered ambience. About five to six exhibitions each year shown on two light-filled gallery floors. In 2008, the Baden -Baden Versicherung AG took over the house and the name was changed to " Baden-Baden Art Forum ".

Until 1998 's then St. Ingberter Cultural Office director Elmar Peiffer took care of the selection of artists and the curating of exhibitions. After that, his successor Ingrid Roberts drew responsible. Later the art agency took over the artistic direction Conexxion art.

Among the presented artists include Albert Haberer (1993 ), Gaetano Gross, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Albert Münch, Chappla (2010) and many others.
