Geography
Kuntaur, in the management unit Central River Region, District Niani, lies on the north bank of the Gambia River, about three kilometers south of Wassu and 13 kilometers north of Janjanbureh away. The North Bank Road, a major highway from Gambia, crosses Wassu, where the famous stone circles of Wassu lie.
