Kunyu Wanguo Quantu

Kunyu Wanguo Quantu (Chinese坤 舆 万 国 全 图, Pinyin KUNYU Wanguo quantu, overall map of the many countries in the world '; Italian: Carta Geografica Completa di tutti i Regni del Mondo ) is the earliest known Chinese world map in the style of European maps. It was the first time in China in 1602 by Matteo Ricci and his Chinese colleagues, the Mandarin Zhong Wentao and the translator Li Zhizao, printed by order of the Emperor Wanli.

The card was for the growing Chinese understanding of the world is essential. It was later exported to Japan and was there too influential.
