Kuolajoki River

The Kuolajoki (Russian Куолайоки ) is a river in northern Finland and in Russia's Murmansk Oblast.

The river has its origin in the small lake Wuosnajarwi in Murmansk Oblast in Russia. From there it flows first in a northerly direction, flows through the lakes and Apajarwi Kuolajarwi. He then turns to the west. The Sallajoki (Russian Саллайоки ) flows from the south into the Kuolajoki. The Kuolajoki crossed the border to Finnish Lapland. There he runs within the municipality of Salla and finally empties into the Tenniöjoki, a tributary of Kemi. The river has a length of 58 kilometers.
