Kurdistan Democratic Solution Party

The Party for a political solution in Kurdistan ( Partiya Çareseriya Demokratik a Kurdistan, PÇDK; Arab حزب الحل الديمقراطي الكوردستاني ) is a Kurdish political party in Iraq. The PÇDK is a sister organization of the Turkish separatist group PKK, was established in 2002. Chairman of the party is Diyar Garip who took office in May, 2008 on the fourth congress of Muhammad Faiq Gulpi. The party is regarded as splinter group. In the 2005 elections in the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan, it reached 0.52 percent of the vote. In the national elections 0.062 percent.

Objectives

The rhetoric of the party is geared towards a peaceful solution to the Kurdish question. However, she maintains close contacts with the parts of the PKK, who want to bring about a solution by force of arms. Central figure of identification of the party is Abdullah Ocalan.
