Kurloff cells

As Kurloff cells is called a subtype of white blood cells in guinea pigs. Are mononuclear cells, mainly lymphocytes, by about 8 microns wide, in the reddish hematological standard dyeings inclusion bodies ( Kurloff corpuscles ) are marked. It is believed that Kurloff cells are a special form of NK cells.

The content of the blood to Kurloff cells in females is associated with the estrogen levels. During pregnancy they may constitute up to 4% of the white blood cells.
