The television film exchange loss is a Swiss production with the participation of the television SRF from the year 2013. The movie tells the story of Julia and Robert and her family.

The TV premiere was on SRF 1 on 13 October 2013.

Content

Julia is a happy mother, a passionate rower and successful as a team leader in the social welfare office in Biel profession. When her husband Robert loses his place in the international financial trading to Julia's life heats up. Robert now stays at home and does not hurry with the job search.

One day, when their boat capsizes, it is fished by the sympathetic homeless Elias. Elias lives in the port and renovated his boat.

In the interview, she sent Elijah the image of a successful woman who has life under control. But this self-image falters, since her husband has lost his job. Her mother is in the last phase of life and their two children can not say anything more. Especially her silent pubescent son Pascal makes Julia worries. Once she has to pick him up at the police station because he hath kindled together with colleagues almost the boat from Elias.

Elias is satisfied with his life, what Julia fascinated. They visited him more often because it helps her to cope with their existential crisis Julia's behavior has the consequence that her husband left the family and took a trip.

It turns out that Elias has lost his son in a diving accident. He resumes contact with his family and returned to her. Robert also come back. Her son Pascal is now together with a classmate.

Exchange loss is engaged in the SME Switzerland. The film shows the great influence of the financial crisis and its impact on the private life.

This is the second TV film of Barbara Kulcsar by fog Grind. Swiss Television nominated exchange loss for the competitions of the TV Film Festival Baden -Baden 2013.
