Kurt Bernard
Kurt Bernard Simpson ( born August 8, 1977 in Limón ) is a Costa Rican football player.
Bernard began his football career in his native Limón. In his time at the Costa Rican second division club AD Limonense he retired in 2000 in a car accident a severe foot injury. Faced with the decision to make or stop in football career, he fought his way back into the team and in 2002 back to the runner- AD Santos from GUAPILES in the first division. After two years with Santos and another year at CS Herediano the striker completed in 2005 at the Puntarenas FC. 2005/ 06 was a surprise season for the team, which was also due to the 22 gates of Kurt Bernard. Puntarenas was runner-up and he himself scorer.
This success helped him to his first stakes in the Costa Rican national team in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany. As a substitute in the storm, he was nominated for the banns Costa Rica.
