Kurt Runge

Kurt Runge (* September 13, 1887 in Brandenburg an der Havel, † November 6, 1959 ) was coxswain of the German rowing eight in 1912 won the Olympic bronze medal.

Runge launched for the Berlin Rowing Club from 1876. 1912 won the Berlin roller with Otto Liebing, Max Bröske, Max Vetter, Willi Bartholomae, Fritz Bartholomae, Werner Dehn, Rudolf Reichelt, Hans Matthiae and Kurt Runge at the German Championship in front of the boat from Mainz the boat from the Berliner RC Sports Borussia gave up.

At the Olympic Games in 1912 on the Djurgårdsbrunnsviken in Stockholm two boats were in the KO system against each other.
