Kurt Schlosser
Kurt Schlosser ( * October 18, 1900; † August 16, 1944 in Dresden) was an active communist and resistance fighter.
Life
During his training as a cabinetmaker, he lost an arm, but he formed with young athletes working a climbing group and was a member of the Woodworkers Association and the Tourist Association " Friends of Nature ".
Between 1919 and 1923 he worked as a polisher, dressers and slingers in the German workshops Hellerau worked there and also a member of the works council. In 1923 he joined the Communist Party, he was one of the RGO in the German workshops to. In 1930, he was reprimanded as a communist council and excluded from the Woodworkers Association. Before the Labour Court, he won his continuing work in operation.
Since 1931 he was a member of the strike committee, the DWH possessed its lockout, which led to unemployment. But not long after, he set up a dedicated woodworking shop in Leipziger Strasse in Dresden. Besides, he was also head of the vocal department of the United climbing departments, the later Saxon climbers choir " Kurt Schlosser ".
From 1933, he was with other climbers busy with " illegal border work." His carpentry workshop has been a meeting point of resistance fighters against the Nazi regime. There was a close relationship between German and Czechoslovak workers athletes.
Kurt Schlosser appeared in the bourgeois choral society " Melomanie " and in the section " Meissner Highlands " with the German Alpine Club.
From 1942 he was a member of the lead after numerous arrests of illegal Dresdner newly formed Communist Party organization and made new connections to illegally active stewards in and around Dresden.
On December 3, 1943, came the arrest of Kurt Schlosser and other active anti-fascists, on 30 June 1944, he was before the 2nd Division of the People's Court along with his comrades Herbert Bloch joke, Otto bile and Arthur Weineck for "high treason and aiding the enemy " to sentenced death and 16 August 1944 beheaded in Richthof the Dresden district court, Münchner Platz.
The Saxon climbers choir " Kurt Schlosser " Dresden carries since 1949 the name of the murdered anti-fascists.
