Kurya, Kuryinsky District, Altai Krai
Kurja (Russian Курья ) is a village ( selo ) in the region of Altai (Russia) with 3835 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ).
Geography
The village is located about 220 km as the crow south-southwest of the regional administration center Barnaul on the southern edge of the Voraltaiebene ( Predaltaiskaja Ravnina ) at the Loktewka, a left tributary of the Charysh.
Kurja is the administrative seat of the Rajons Kurjinski and seat and only town in the rural community Kurjinski selsowet.
