Kuwait national ice hockey team

The Kuwaiti national ice hockey team is composed by the Kuwaiti Hockey Association. So far, she has participated in three Winter Asian Games.

History

The national ice hockey team in Kuwait since 1999 takes place at international matches and played their first official international match on 30 January 1999 against the Japanese national ice hockey team during her first appearance at the Asian Winter Games. In this game, the newly formed team were beaten 1:44. The result is also the highest defeat that ever had to accept the team. In the second part in the Asian Games in 2007, Kuwait reached at least the seventh of eleven courses.

In June 2008, Kuwait took part in the newly formed Arab Cup of Ice Hockey, in which they reached the second of four courses. Following the tournament Kuwait was one of the six founding members of the Arab Ice Hockey Federation.
