Kvalserien
The Kvalserien is a promotion round in the Swedish Hockey, is in played, who plays in the following season in the Elitserien. By 2005, the promotion round was called Superallsvenskan.
After the end of the season of Elitserien and the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan the Kvalserien takes place. The two worst teams in the Elitserien and the four best teams in the HockeyAllsvenskan make this league. Each team must play against each of the other five teams twice. The top two teams will play in the following season in the Elitserien, the remaining four in the HockeyAllsvenskan.
