Kvaløya, Finnmark

Kvaløy is an island in the province of Finnmark, Northern Norway. Its area is 336 square kilometers. On the island, the boroughs of Hammerfest and Kvalsund. The city of Hammerfest is situated in the western part of the island, as well as the Hammerfest airport. On Kvaloya 9,850 people ( as of 2012).
In the south the Kvalsund bridge connects the island to the mainland.
