Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ

Kıvanç Tatlitug ( born October 27, 1983 in Adana) is a Turkish actor and model active.

Life and career

His father should have his own words Bosnian roots from the former Yugoslavia, while his Turkish mother is originally from Edirne.

After Kıvanç Tatlitug was voted " Best Model Of The World" in 2002, he moved to Paris to pursue his career as a model. Previously played Tatlitug professional basketball in the clubs Beşiktaş Cola Turka and Fenerbahçe Ülker. After an injury he had to stop with the basketball.

In 2005 he got the role of Mehmet's in the series Gümüş (silver). The series became very popular both in Turkey and in the Arab countries. Then Tatlitug played the lead role in the series Menekse ile Halil ( Menekse and Halil ).

In 2008 he received a starring role in the series Aşk -ı Memnu ( Forbidden Love), based on the eponymous play by Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil. There he played Behlül Haznedar. The series has received numerous honors and outside of Turkey, especially in the Arab countries, to a ratings hit. In addition Tatlitug is since 2011 in commercials for the jeans brand MaviJeans and to see a Turkish beverage company on Turkish television.

From September 7, 2011 to June 2013 Tatlitug played the main role in Turkish Kuzey Güney series. As of end of May 2012 Tatlitug was seen in a commercial for Magnum Infinity.

Because of its popularity in the Arab world, he was also there for the advertising and played among other things, in music videos, such as in a music video of singer Rola Saad.
