Kvareli

Qvareli (Georgian ყვარელი ) is a city in the Georgian region of Kakheti. The municipality is located 449 m above sea level. It has 8825 inhabitants (2008 ). In Qvareli wine and brandy is produced. The varieties are named Kindsmarauli and Gremi. Worth seeing is the Alaverdi Cathedral.
