Kvina

The Kvina is a river that flows through the valley Kvinesdal in Fylke Vest -Agder in southern Norway and flows into the Fedafjord.
The Kvina has a natural creek that Litleåna. The original catchment area comprised 1445 km ². The Kvina was heavily regulated by the Sira - Kvina Kraftselskap. The water from 809 km ² (56% ) of the original catchment area is diverted to the adjacent river valley Sira Sirdal. The River (including the Litleåna ) had a mean discharge of 81 m³ / s, prior to adjustment. Today, this is still only 32 m³ / s
The Kvina nowadays salmon leader until after Rafoss, on a river stretch of 13 km. In addition to the salmon river Litleåna reach upstream the location Åmot, 1 km.
