Kwa Sani (English Kwa Sani Local Municipality ) is a municipality in the district Sisonke, Province of KwaZulu -Natal in South Africa. In 2001, the population was 14,574 in a total area of 1,180 km ². The administrative center is Himeville. Mduduzi Banda is the mayor. The community name refers to the Sani Pass, which was a trade route between the San Lesotho and South Africa.
The most important cities in the municipality are Underberg, Himeville, Bushman's Nek and Okhalweni.
