Kwan Shan
Kwan Shan (Chinese关 山, Pinyin Guan Shān; born April 12, 1933, Shenyang, Manchukuo, † October 1, 2012 ) was a Chinese actor, director and film producer. Kwan often played romantic leading man in Mandarin -language films from Hong Kong, insbesonderem in the sixties. He appeared in several Shaw Brothers movies and Jackie Chan's Police Story 2
Life and death
Kwan was born in Shenyang in the former Japanese puppet state of Manchukuo and moved to Hong Kong later. He was the father of actress Rosamund Kwan and husband of actress Cheung Bing Sai Chinese (张 冰 茜). The two married in 1959, had two children and divorced in 1982.
He died on 11 October 2012 79 years from lung cancer. His funeral was held at the Hong Kong Funeral Home.
