Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture

Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (Ukrainian Київський національний університет будівництва і архітектури ( КНУБА ) ); English: Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture ( KNUCA ), formerly Kyiv Civil Engineering Institute ) is a university founded in 1930 in Kiev, Ukraine.

Overview

1930, the Kiev Institute of Civil Engineering was established in Kiev ( Kyiv Civil Engineering Institute ) from the National Technical University of Ukraine " Kyiv Polytechnic Institute " ( NTUU "KPI " ) and the Department of Architecture Art Academy.

1993 was renamed State University of Construction and Architecture, and by decree of the President of Ukraine in 1999, the National University of Construction and Architecture of the Government of Ukraine to the Institute.

Since the establishment of the University of approximately 40,000 architects and engineers have been trained, of which 1,500 are from more than 70 countries around the world. 2005 7500 students study at the university; of the approximately 700 scientific employees, about 120 professors and lecturers. Degrees can be obtained in 25 different disciplines. Over 2,000 students studying on distance learning center of KNUCA.
