Kym Anderson

Kym Anderson ( born February 26, 1950 in Adelaide ) is an Australian economist. He is a professor at the University of Adelaide.

Life

Anderson studied agricultural economics at the University of New England (Bachelor, 1971). He received a master's in 1974 from the University of Adelaide. He then studied one year in the Ph.D. program of the University of Chicago and then moved to Stanford University, where in 1976 an MA and 1977, a Ph.D. obtained. From 1977 to 1983 he conducted research at the Australian National University. Since 1984 he has been at the University of Adelaide.

Work

Anderson conducts research on foreign trade, development, agriculture and environmental economics and wine economics. He has published over 30 books and 300 articles in journals and chapters in books.
