Kyōko Nagatsuka

Kyoko Nagatsuka (Japanese长 冢 京 子, Kyoko Nagatsuka; born February 22, 1974 in Chiba, Chiba Prefecture ) is a former Japanese tennis player.

Career

Kyoko Nagatsukas professional tennis career lasted from 1989 to 2001. During this time she won on the WTA tour in women's doubles two tournaments. On ITF level, they took out a title. The Japanese reached rank 28 in singles and 31 in doubles ranking (both 1995), their best finish in the women's world rankings. The two tournament victories in women's doubles on the WTA Tour in 1995 and 1996 she won the tournament in Hobart, together with Ai Sugiyama and Yayuk Basuki. At the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, she joined with Ai Sugiyama in together in a double, but failed in the first round. Another partner of her in women's doubles was Yone Kamio.
